The combination of lamb meat, lamb tripe, wholegrain rice, fish oil, herbs, algae and blueberries provides a tasty and balanced daily diet.

Lamb tripe naturally has a characteristic aroma and taste that many dogs find particularly appealing. Tripe is also traditionally valued as a natural ingredient to support gut flora and digestion. Combined with lamb meat, this makes Lamb & Tripe a tasty variety that can also be particularly interesting for fussy or selective eaters.

Our kibble is pressed at a low temperature. This gentle production method ensures that the ingredients are subjected to as little processing stress as possible.

✓ Cold-pressed at low temperature
✓ With lamb meat and lamb tripe
✓ Lamb tripe to support gut flora and digestion
✓ Particularly tasty thanks to the natural aroma and flavour of tripe
✓ Gluten-free
✓ No artificial colours or flavours
✓ No chemical preservatives
✓ Complete daily dog food
✓ Can easily be combined with fresh meat

What does cold-pressed mean?
At Canis Purus, quality starts with the raw ingredients. Upon arrival, our ingredients are carefully inspected, precisely blended and then pressed into kibble at an average temperature of approximately 37°C.

Unlike extruded kibble, no high temperatures are used during pressing to give the kibble its final shape. This creates a compact, cold-pressed kibble that breaks down relatively quickly in the stomach.

The shape and texture of our kibble are adapted to the dog’s natural chewing behaviour. Canis Purus also contains no artificial attractants, colours or flavours.

Because we do not use chemical preservatives, our food has a maximum shelf life of 8 months.

Why choose Canis Purus cold-pressed?
Canis Purus deliberately chooses cold pressing at low temperature. This makes our production method clearly different from the conventional production of extruded dog food.

The benefits of Canis Purus:

Low production temperature of approximately 37°C

Compact kibble that breaks down relatively quickly in the stomach

Can easily be combined with fresh meat or steamed food

Carefully selected natural ingredients

Gluten-free

No artificial colours or flavours

No chemical preservatives

Complete food for daily feeding

This gives your dog a natural, nutritious meal without unnecessary additives.

Lamb & lamb tripe – naturally tasty
Canis Purus Lamb & Tripe combines dried and ground lamb meat with dried and ground lamb tripe.

Lamb tripe is the stomach of the lamb and, thanks to its characteristic aroma and flavour, is particularly appealing to many dogs. Tripe is traditionally used as a natural animal ingredient and is a valuable addition to support balanced gut flora and normal digestion.

The distinctive natural flavour of lamb tripe also makes this variety particularly interesting for fussy or selective eaters.

In addition to lamb meat and lamb tripe, this food contains ingredients including fish oil, herbs, algae, blueberries, milk thistle seeds and Yucca schidigera.

Feeding guide
The daily amount of Canis Purus depends on your dog’s age, body weight and activity level.

Adult dogs
As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 12 grams per kilogram of body weight per day.

Puppies and young dogs
Puppies have higher nutritional requirements during growth. As a guideline, we recommend approximately 25 grams per kilogram of body weight per day. As the puppy grows, this amount should gradually be reduced to approximately 12 grams per kilogram of body weight when the dog reaches adulthood.

The age at which a dog reaches adulthood varies according to breed and size. Small dogs generally reach their adult weight sooner than large and very large breeds.

Example for an adult dog:
10 kg → approx. 120 g per day
20 kg → approx. 240 g per day
30 kg → approx. 360 g per day
40 kg → approx. 480 g per day

The quantities indicated are guidelines. Actual nutritional requirements may vary depending on breed, age, activity level, body condition and metabolism.

Preferably divide the daily amount over several meals and always provide plenty of fresh drinking water.

Composition: Dried and ground lamb meat, wholegrain rice, dried and ground lamb tripe, potato flakes, corn germ, beet pulp, rice germ, gelatine, fish oil, dried herb mix, algae, dried peat, dried blueberries, milk thistle seeds, egg yolk, Yucca schidigera.

Analytical constituents: Crude protein 25%, crude fat 9.5%, crude fibre 3%, crude ash 6%, calcium 1.3%, phosphorus 1.1%.

Nutritional additives per kg
Vitamins, provitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effects:
Vitamin A 10,900 IU, vitamin D3 1,100 IU, vitamin E 205 mg, vitamin B1 4.2 mg, vitamin B2 as riboflavin 7.9 mg, vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride 4.5 mg, vitamin B12 50 mcg, biotin as D-(+)-biotin 241 mcg, folic acid 0.38 mg, niacin 23 mg, vitamin C as L-ascorbic acid 160 mg, calcium D-pantothenate 7.3 mg, choline chloride 1,450 mg.

Trace elements: Manganese as manganese(II) oxide 52 mg, copper as copper(II) oxide 10 mg, zinc as zinc oxide 76 mg, iodine as calcium iodate 1.3 mg.

Environmentally friendly packaging: We also take the environment into account when it comes to our packaging.
